I-95 Reconstruction & Bridge Rehabilitation Project,
Northern Delaware

HFA provided public involvement, stakeholder facilitation, and mitigation design services for the reconstruction of Interstate 95 from south of Wilmington to the Pennsylvania border and the rehabilitation of the bridges over the interstate in that area. This interstate is located near numerous residential communities and retail/commercial areas, and required a carefully coordinated program to bring together diverse interests and stakeholders in the decision-making process. HFA prepared a feasibility study and developed the public involvement and information campaign. HFA managed a series of committees, which included the I-95 Executive Committee, the I-95 Working Group, the I-95 Transit Committee, and the I-95 Construction Committee.
